Thrill seekers in San Diego need to prepare to be “eel-ectrified” on the city’s tallest and fastest roller coaster.
Electric eel accelerates riders forwards, backwards, and then forwards again on a rocketing adventure over the top of SeaWorld.

At its peak, Electric Eel stands 150 feet tall and offers amazing views of the whole park, but once at the top, you’ll be twisted around in a heartline roll and promptly propelled down towards the ground reaching a top speed of 60 miles per hour! The ride also features a loop that gives riders some intense airtime before they return to the station.

In true SeaWorld style, Eletric Eel is complemented by a live California moray eel habitat in the adjacent Ocean Explorer realm, where guests can observe eels through large acrylic windows as they glide through a replicated deep-sea cave.
